This awareness workshop, open to all life sciences researchers in Uganda, will highlight ICGEB’s research activities across its three components and provide comprehensive information on the funding opportunities available through the project. Participants will learn about upcoming calls, receive practical guidance on preparing competitive applications, and gain insight into the selection process and timelines. Following the presentations, informal one-to-one sessions will offer researchers the chance to discuss their projects and ask specific questions directly to the ICGEB team. The workshop will also presentat Biotechnet collaborative initiatives aimed at strengthening cross-border cooperation among East African countries.
