ZIDECHIP: Point of Care for the simultaneous detection of Zika, Dengue and Chikungunya viruses

Funded by the Regione FVG under the POR-FESR 2014-2020 programme. The project has awarded to the Molecular Virology Group at ICGEB, headed by Alessandro Marcello.

The project received around EUR 111K funding in the collaboration with Alifax Research&Development Srl and Laboratori Riuniti Trieste.

The project aims to develop a point-of-care (PoC) device for the fast diagnosis of tropical pathogens (ZIKV, DENV, and CHIKV), which will have a significant impact on the world health system.
