South Asian Biotechnology Conference is an excellent platform for scientists and students from all SAARC countries to share their scientific expertise and enhance capacity building in the region. This is a unique opportunity for scientists and researchers to collaborate with each other and work on not only global but region-specific problems in the field of health surveillance, vaccines, agriculture and environment. The meeting will have sessions covering various aspects in Biotechnology. The event programme include oral scientific sessions, poster sessions, panel discussions and a workshop.

Plant and Agricultural Biotechnology, Non-communicable Diseases, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, Environmental and Industrial Biotechnology, Frontiers in Biotechnology.

Participants

The registration fee will cover participation to conference, admission to all scientific sessions, admission to inaugural event including award ceremony, Conference bag and inclusions, lunches and Coffee. Registration fees will not cover lodging. Registration Fee (No Housing): USD 50 (SAARC Nations);
USD 70 (Outside SAARC Nations).

Funding

ICGEB supported fellows will not be charged any registration fees and will receive 3 day accommodation (on twin sharing basis) and meals as per programme. Selection will be based on the applicants’ expertise in their respective areas and their contribution to the conference.
