Progressing from genes to biology to therapy for rare genetic disorders
Host:J. Paccez
Abstract: Advances in AI and computational biology are revolutionizing biomedical research, enabling
impactful science even in resource-limited settings. This talk focuses on how AI-powered spatial
transcriptomics can uncover critical insights in precision medicine using publicly available
datasets and low-cost computational tools. Researchers in Global South can perform complex
analyses without deep technical expertise, shifting the focus toward asking meaningful
scientific questions.
