We do introduce approaches for mathematical modelling and numerical simulation
for cardiovascular systems based on data assimilation, inverse problems, flow controol
as well as artificial intelligence, towards “human” digital twins. T
he cardiovascular system is a very complex system to be simulated: clinical data
are playing a very important and crucial role, as well as geometry reconstruction.
Advances in computational sciences are more and more integrating complex
parametric simulations thanks to model order reduction, even allowing real time
computing, as well as automatic learning.
