Clinical Data Analysis, Multivariate Modelling, and Omics Interpretation Using R is a three-day practical course designed for clinicians, clinical researchers, and early-career investigators working in cancer and related translational research. The course will provide a clinically oriented introduction to study design, metadata preparation, quality control, univariate biomarker discovery, multivariate modelling, machine learning, pathway enrichment, and validation using publicly available datasets. Each morning will combine conceptual lectures with clinical examples, while each afternoon will provide hands-on R training using clinical and omics-style datasets. The course will emphasize how to transform clinical questions into analyzable datasets, avoid common statistical and machine-learning pitfalls, interpret high-dimensional omics results, and evaluate whether biomarkers or molecular signatures are reproducible and clinically meaningful. By the end of the course, participants will have developed a short analysis workflow covering study design, biomarker discovery, multivariate modelling, biological interpretation, public dataset validation, and reporting of limitations and next steps
