The project “BIOTECHNET II – Enhancing and capitalising biotechnology know-how in the Horn of Africa” aims to enhance the scientific competencies of researchers and research institutions from Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, and Uganda in the field of Life Sciences. Thanks to the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), funding and training opportunities are available to candidates from these countries. The event is open to all researchers in Kenya working in the field of Life Sciences and will showcase ICGEB’s research activities across its three components, while providing detailed information on the various funding and training options available through the project. In addition, a soft skill workshop will enhance innovative and entrepreneurship skills of Life Sciences researchers. It will include lectures, interactive sessions, real-world case studies, and expert-led discussions, to equip the audience with actionable strategies to support Kenya’s growing life sciences innovative ecosystem. The workshop will be conducted in Hybrid Format.
