M-ONT is a four-day international workshop bringing together leading scientists, clinicians, and industry voices to teach the design, mechanism, and clinical translation of antisense oligonucleotides, siRNAs, aptamers, and emerging RNA therapeutics. lt is both a scientific conference and a course for graduate students and postdocs, with introductory lectures, seminars, flash talks and poster sessions.

Types of therapeutic oligonucleotides and their mechanisms of action; Oligonucleotide chemistry: Backbones, modifications, conjugates; Delivery of oligonucleotide and RNA Therapeutics; Clinical applications of oligonucleotide and RNA Therapeutics; In silico tools for oligonucleotide modeling and design.
Participants
The meeting will include lectures aimed at students, delivered by academic researchers and industry leaders. Cutting-edge scientific talks will be presented by international leaders in their fields, including researchers from academia and industry. 20 Graduate students and postdocs from ICGEB member states will be funded. Additional students as well as local and regional researchers can attend, covering their own expenses, up to a quota of 100 total participants.
Funding
There are no registration fees. A limited number of grants (20) covering accommodation and meals are available for
students and early career researchers of ICGEB Member States nationality. Some funds are reserved for air travel for students who are both ICGEB Member States nationals and from a Least Developed Country (LDC). However, we will also partially support transportation for a selected number of students from middle-income economies. Students and postdocs from Uruguay will not receive ICGEB funding, except for meals.
