The major goal of this project is to improve the current diagnosis and prognosis of patients affected by Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis through the establishment of novel biomarkers (members of the miR-200 family) and imaging tools able to measure lung rigidity using synchrotron light computed tomography.
