3-4 April 2023: A cohort of international students from ICGEB New Delhi are at the G20 (Science-20) event in Agartala, India this week.
International students from African nations are attending the G20 Science-20 event on behalf of ICGEB New Delhi. The delegation comprises Oubaha Brahim (Morocco), Research Scientist in the Plant Stress Biology Group, Temesgen Assefa Gelaw (Ethiopia), pre-doctoral Fellow in the Plant RNAi Biology lab, Abdalah Makaranga Kuberwa (Tanzania) pre-doctoral fellow from the Omics of Algae Group, and Gebyawa Getnet Mekonnen (Ethiopia), postdoctoral fellow in the Malaria Biology Group.
In Agartala, they will be attending the meeting and events hosted by India during the G20 Presidency in 2023.
With a focus on international collaboration, participation by foreign delegates to the G20 are being strongly supported by the Indian Government.
