This international event is a 5-day hands-on course teaching how to cultivate 3D brain organiods from iPSCs to model neurodegenerative disorders. The course aims to bridge technological gaps and enhance advanced laboratory capacity in the region, empowering international/local researchers to pioneer translational neuroscience.

Participants
This workshop is open to students, postdocs, junior researchers, clinicians, and professionals in regenerative medicine and neuroscience research. Participants must submit a 300-word structured abstract (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions) using Times New Roman font (13 pt for the title, 12 pt for the body, and affiliations in Italics), along with a motivation letter explaining their academic interest and research goals. The registration fee is €300, covering lunch and refreshments, materials, hands-on sessions and scientific sessions. Selected participants must register by paying the full registration fee within one month of receiving the selection notice.
Funding
A limited number of funding opportunities are available to cover the registration fee, accommodation (on a twin-sharing basis), local transportation, lunch and refreshments during the event, materials and consumables for students/young researchers (below 40 yrs) from ICGEB Member States. Funding will be awarded based on the quality of the submitted abstract. Having the basic knowledge in lab safety, chemical biology, and mammalian cell culture will be an added advantage. Separate awards will be given only for the best oral and poster presenters.

- CV: 3 Pages maximum – compulsory
- Abstract: should be on the fields of regenerative medicine, neuroscience, neurobiology, cell biology, organoids, invitro diagnostic models, mammalian cell culture and movement disorders, maximum 300-word structured abstract (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions) using Times New Roman font (13 pt for the title, 12 pt for the body, and affiliations in Italics); the presenting author should be underlined; keywords (3-5) – compulsory
- Passport identification page for international applicants/ NIC for nationals – compulsory
- Reference Letter from the immediate supervisor – compulsory
- Declaration of Funding Availability – compulsory
- Motivation Letter indicating Research Interests – Non-compulsory
