The chemistry of garlic and its ability to kill cancer cells
(Host: G. Schäfer)
South Africa is a leading role-player in Africa when the use of biocontrol products are considered. This is partly due to a strong commercial agricultural sector. The South African Bioproducts Organization (SABO) is a voluntary industry organization representing manufacturers, distributors, academics and growers’associations with the purpose of aligning its members to ensure a prosperous bio-industry. The presentation will focus on the importance of biocontrol to South African agriculture as well as market and regulatory aspects.
