The ICGEB aims at strengthening the research capability of its Members through a comprehensive training programme and approach to promoting biotechnology internationally. The topics of the Workshop are related to the field of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Biotechnologies (Ph/M BT); their current trends and prospects in Europe, with a specific focus on Central and Eastern European Countries; opportunities to increase a regional cooperation related to the upcoming FP9 EC program and other relevant international programs in the period 2021-2027

Participants

Experts, representatives of international centers and of governments, scientists and industrial researchers, technologists coming from Europe mainly from CEE countries (Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Moldavia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine).

The active participation of ICGEB Member States participants is highly encouraged.

Funding

A limited number of grants will be available for nationals of ICGEB Member States to waive the registration fee and cover accommodation and local hospitality for the duration of the workshop.

Priority will be given to participants with an accepted abstract for presentation at the meeting.
