The ICGEB aims at strengthening the research capability of its Members through a comprehensive training programme and approach to promoting biotechnology internationally. The active participation of ICGEB Member States nationals in the ICGEB Meetings and Courses is therefore highly encouraged. The workshop aims at providing a forum for discussion between stakeholders, experts from the private sector, as well as from the public domain, to share knowledge and experience from the field of biosimilars and to formulate recommendations on national and regional level towards increasing smart specialization, competitiveness and strengthening the regional integration into European research and innovation programs.

Topics

Biosimilar and generic pharmaceutical development, local manufacturing, smart specialization, technology transfer.

Participants

Attendance is by invitation. A limited number of seats will be available for scientists and policy makers involved in biopharmaceutical R&D and willing to present their current research/work. Interested participants must apply online including their CV and motivation letter.

Funding

A limited number of grants to cover accommodation and meals will be available for selected participants holding strategic positions in government, educational and industry institutions who are nationals of an ICGEB Member State. The grant will cover transport costs and hotel accommodation.
