This international ICGEB course focuses on the use of flow cytometry in biotechnology. The course covers a range of applications of flow cytometry (aquaculture, algae, yeast, and bacteria) as well as classical techniques on animal cells and offers a good combination of theoretical and practical approaches.
Conferences day on flow cytometry and examples of its applications, Mammalian cells technology and applications of cytometry to medical biotechnology, Yeast model and pharmacological screening, Biotechnology and microbiology – application in agribusiness and biomonitoring, Biotechnology and oceanography.
Researchers involved in the field of genetics, molecular and medical biology, microbiology and marine sciences. Junior scientists are also welcome to apply. Admission is subject to selection. Geographical and gender balance will be respected.
Participants are expected to cover their own travel and living costs. A limited number of grants, covering accommodation (twin share) and local hospitality for the duration of the course, are available to a selected number of nationals of ICGEB Member States currently residing outside of Tunisia.
