The workshop will cover biotechnological advances in studying, detecting, and controlling trypanosomiasis. It offers hands-on training in lab techniques, explores applications in treatment and prevention, and fosters collaboration among researchers, scientists, and students in infectious diseases.

Biology of Trypanosomatids; Genomic Regulation and Cellular Dynamics in Trypanosomatids; Development of vaccines against Chagas disease; Development of therapeutics against Chagas disease; Clinical trials for Chagas disease; Symposium & Networking.

Participants

Researchers involved in the field of Chagas Disease, immunology of infectious diseases and platforms for diagnostic improvement. Students and junior scientists are welcome to attend.

Funding

Participants are expected to cover their own travel and living costs. A limited number of grants, covering accommodation and/or local hospitality of the duration of the Meeting, are available to a selected number of nationals of ICGEB Member States. Limited travel contribution will additionally be available from the local organizers and external sponsors for selected scientists.
