Minister Dr. Blade Nzimande heads a delegation hosted by Prof. Ramesh Sonti, Director, ICGEB New Delhi to cement international research collaboration.
ICGEB New Delhi, 4 July 2023: Minister Blade Nzimande and a delegation from the South African Ministry of Science and Innovation have visited the India Component of the ICGEB based in New Delhi.
The first Minister to visit the Components of the ICGEB in both Trieste, Italy and New Delhi, India, Min. Nzimande was greeted by Prof. Ramesh Sonti, who presented a brief overview of the activities of ICGEB New Delhi and highlights of recent work.
The visit offered an opportunity for the ICGEB faculty to interact with the Minister and members of the delegation, with a view to enhancing interaction between researchers at ICGEB New Delhi and researchers in South Africa.
The delegation also visited the facilites and met with the international student body at the Component.
