The ICGEB Library

The Trieste Library is open to all ICGEB scientists and students as well as to other authorized users.
External personnel interested in consulting books and journals may gain access to the Library requesting authorization during the following working hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Main fields covered in the Trieste collection are: Molecular and cellular biology, molecular pathology, human genetics, immunology, bacteriology, microbiology, virology, protein structure and function, proteomics, biotechnology, biocomputing and biosafety

Approximately 1.400 printed books and 150 periodicals (most of them can be read online within the ICGEB Trieste premises).
