* Participants eligible for “Reduced fee” are Students and Post-docs who have ended the doctorate by not more than 4 years in May 2024. Proof of qualifying Student or Post-doc status is required. The mandatory Proof of qualifying student status is a document provided by your University/Affiliated Institute on headed paper, dated, and stamped or signed. Please note that you must be enrolled at the date of the Conference to be eligible for the reduced fee.

Cancellations must be notified to the Organising Secretariat in writing no later than 22 April 2024 (midday Trieste time) and will be subject to a handling fee of Euro 50. After this date refunds cannot be guaranteed.

Abstracts

Selected participants will have the opportunity to present their current research. Abstracts will be considered for either oral or poster presentation.
You must REGISTER for the meeting and complete the PAYMENT of the registration fee BEFORE you submit your abstract.
Abstracts should focus on unpublished material.

How to reach the Trieste Convention Centre:

  • by car: from the city centre/Trieste railway station, take Viale Miramare up to the roundabout that indicates the entrance of the Porto Vecchio. There is a large parking lot free of charge nearby the TCC
  • by bus: line number 6 from the city center/Trieste railway station up to the bus stop ‘Porto Vecchio’ and/or bus stop ‘Viale Miramare/cavalcavia ferroviario’ (railway overpass)
  • by foot: from the Trieste train station it is about 1,5 Kilometres (approx. 20 minute walk)
  • by bike: one of the stations of Bits – Bike Sharing Trieste – is opposite of Magazzino 28 in the Porto Vecchio ‘Polo Mauseale’ (click here for more information)
