The ICGEB aims at strengthening the research capability of its Members through a comprehensive training programme and approach to promoting biotechnology internationally. The active participation of ICGEB Member States nationals in the ICGEB Meetings and Courses is therefore highly encouraged.

The Course will cover lectures and hands-on sessions on different techniques in Molecular Biology and Enzyme Biotechnology for cost-effective production of biofuels. It aims to apply various experimental, computational and enzyme engineering tools for improved functionality and stability of industrial enzymes.

Participants
Researchers and graduate students in the fields of Molecular Biology, Enzymology, Industrial Microbiology, Enzyme Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology and related fields. Poster sessions will be organized. Attendance is limited to 40 participants (women scientists are encouraged to apply).
Funding
Registration fee (PostDocs / Graduate Students: Euro 100, Academics: Euro 150, Industry: Euro 200) covers admission to the Course, practical manual, participation certificate, tea breaks, lunch and dinner. Participants are expected to pay the registration fee and cover their travel and living costs. A limited number of grants waiving the registration fee, covering accommodation (twin share) and local hospitality for the duration of the Course are available to a selected number of nationals of ICGEB Member States.
