ICGEB Alumni perform state-of-the-art research in renowned universities and research institutes the world over and are now coming together to make their presence felt. The ICGEB has reached out to more than 1700 of its graduates over recent weeks to formalise the Alumni Association and the feedback has been overwhelming.
ICGEB is striving to strengthen its networking community, to develop training, cultural initiatives, and expertise through the support of its alumni.
Together with the proactive collaboration of the ICGEB, we believe that the Association will thrive and thereby contribute towards advancing biotechnology and educational activities in academic institutes, companies, and industries where it is most needed.
Suggestions we have received from our alumni include sharing experiences, improving skills, and reinforcing capacities through an Alumni platform to share contacts and current affiliations and to enhance scientific cooperation.
We are also creating an ICGEB Alumni World Map to show the spread of our alumni in institutes across the world.
As we bring these suggestions forward, we aim to further stimulate collaborative research in the Member States and training of young scientists who return to their home countries to establish independent laboratories.
Thank you for your testimonials, thank you for furthering our mission:
