CALL FOR APPLICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS NOW CLOSED
The ICBEP10 (10th International Conference on Bartonella as Emerging Pathogens) aims to disseminate scientific knowledge and research regarding aspects of emerging and re-emerging pathogens of the Bartonella genus such as genetics, molecular analysis, clinical epidemiology, among others.
Topics
Molecular and cellular biology of Bartonella sp.; Epidemiology and genetics of Bartonella sp.; Immunology of bartonellosis; Effect of climate change in Bartonella as emerging pathogens; Development of biotechnological tools for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of bartonellosis.
Participants
Young researchers, graduate and post-graduate students developing research in topics related to Bartonellosis from any professional background related to human and animal health. Researchers who are not going to apply for the fellowship and are interested in participating in ICBEP10, could register their participation and submit their abstracts until August 15, 2022.
Funding
Participants are expected to cover their own travel and living costs. Twelve grants waiving the registration fee and covering accommodation and local hospitality for the duration of the event, are available to a selected number of ICGEB Member States nationals residing outside of Peru. Results will be published by July 15 2022, and those attendees selected for the funding must confirm their participation by August 31 2022.
Selection Criteria
Applications may be accompanied by an abstract consisting of not more than 250 words, preferably related to the title of the conference. The abstract should include the background of the research work, objectives, methodologies, key findings and conclusion. Also indicate how this workshop will help in your future research. The ICBEP10 scientific committee consisting of the organizer and other scientists will evaluate the applications that are received on or before the deadline.
