CALL FOR APPLICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS NOW CLOSED

This meeting aims to gather experts in the field of infectious diseases for a broad discussion of state-of-the­ art and the solutions that basic and applied research show for improved diagnosis and therapy. This topic is an important and relevant topic for the region.

Topics

Epidemiology, Therapeutics, “OMICS”, Vaccines, Covid-19: epidemiology & genomic surveillance, Covid-19: vaccines, Covid-19: treatment & molecular insights, Molecular and immunology insights in infectious diseases.

Participants

Researchers involved in the field of viruses, cancer, immunology of infectious diseases and platforms for diagnostic improvement. Students and junior scientists are welcome to attend. The foreseen fees are of US$ 70.00 for students and US$ 140.00 for Professionals.

Funding

Participants are expected to cover their own travel and living costs. A limited number of grants, covering accommodation and/or local hospitality of the duration of the Meeting, are available to a selected number of nationals of ICGEB Member States. Limited travel contribution will additionally be available from the local organizers and external sponsors for selected students/junior scientists.

Abstracts

All registered participants are requested to submit an abstract for poster presentation. The most relevant ones will also be considered for oral presentation.

Participants are welcome to submit abstracts by 30 October 2022 on these topics: Epidemiology, Therapeutics, “OMICS”, Vaccines, Covid-19: epidemiology & genomic surveillance, Covid-19: vaccines, Covid-19: treatment & molecular insights, Molecular and immunology insights in infectious diseases. All abstracts must be submitted in English. The names and affiliations of ALL authors should be included in the abstract i.e. department, institution, city, country. Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words. References may be inserted within the space allocated for the abstract. Abstracts must be submitted by e-mail to [email protected]
