Course “Development of enzymes and microbial technologies for clean energy”

The ICGEB aims at strengthening the research capability of its Members through a comprehensive training programme and approach to promoting biotechnology internationally. The active participation of ICGEB Member States nationals in the ICGEB Meetings and Courses is therefore highly encouraged. The course is designed to train students and junior scientists for clean energy production of lignocellulosic material. The course is directed to students and junior scientist working in the field of bioenergy in academics and industry. The course will include theoretical lectures, tutorials and practical sessions.

Participants

Participation is subject to selection. Selection will be based on the applicants’ CV and potential benefit for their career. Geographical and gender balance as well as priority order in the registration will also be considered. Selected participants will be notified and will need to finalize their registration with payment of the relevant registration fee (Students: Euro 100, Junior scientists: Euro 150).

Funding

A limited number of grants will be available for nationals of ICGEB Member States to waive the registration fee and cover twin-share accommodation. Interested, eligible applicants must register online and additionally upload a motivation statement.
