The project “BIOTECHNET II – Enhancing and capitalising biotechnology know-how in the Horn of Africa” aims to enhance the scientific competencies of researchers and research institutions from Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, and Uganda in the field of Life Sciences. Thanks to the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), funding and training opportunities are available to candidates from these countries.
The project will run for three years, from 2026 to 2029, and follows on from BIOTECHNET – Enhancing biotechnology know-how in the Horn of Africa (2021-2025).
The project has been funded for a total of 3,799,583 Euro.
