The ICGEB Annual Report is freely available for download or upon request. Published once a year and presented at the Governance sessions of the Board and Council of Scientific Advisers, it presents the key performance indicators in terms of science, training and funding programmes, financial reporting and outreach activities undertaken throughout the year to further the mission and vision of the Organisation across the Globe.
In 2017, the ICGEB celebrated 30 years of activity and presented an overview of its main instruments of action divided under five main pillars: RESEARCH, EDUCATION, MEETINGS & COURSES, GRANTS and TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER.
Highlights from 2017 include scientific research results from across 46 laboratories in three Continents, grouped under five macro-areas; countries of origin and number of Fellows undertaking their PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowships at the ICGEB Laboratories, South-South collaboration, distribution of ICGEB Meetings and types of events held since 2010, ICGEB grants – building careers, Tech Transfer Agreements signed with industries and achievements in the course of the year.
The Report also provides information on the other institutional activities carried out in collaboration with other multilateral organisations, Biosafety activities across the globe, projects funded during the year and the Outreach activities pursued to contribute to a vibrant scientific community that disseminates knowledge and passion for science; concepts that are integral to the mission of the ICGEB.
