The Molecular Biosystems Conference is Latin America’s premier event in gene regulation and functional genomics. The meeting brings together leading researchers and rising stars from around the world to discuss recent advances in eukaryotic gene regulation and function across biological systems and scales.

Participants
Researchers working in eukaryotic gene regulation and function, in different model systems and at different scales. Scientists at all career stages, from graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to established principal investigators. Researchers working in academia and industry with an interest in gene regulation and functional genomics in eukaryotes.
Funding
A limited number of grants to cover the cost of the accommodation for the duration of the event and waiving of the registration fee will be available for graduate students or postdoctoral researchers of ICGEB Member States nationality. Awardees will be selected based on their submitted abstracts. Further, applications will be prioritized on the basis of the reasons given by the applicant to attend the meeting, including how the meeting will help them achieve their career goals. Each applicant will thus be required to submit: (i) a completed application form, (ii) a copy of the abstract they plan to submit to the conference, and (iii) a letter of support from their supervisor, confirming their trainee status (student or postdoctoral fellow) and endorsing their participation. This multi-criteria approach ensures that fellowships are awarded to those who will benefit most from the experience.
Fellowship applications will be evaluated by the organizing committee.
