ICGEB grants will be available to ICGEB Member States nationals living outsite of Chile to cover admission to all conference sessions and activities, all conference materials, conference trip, all coffee breaks, lunches, and dinners, and the closing banquet for the awardee.
The selection of the attendees who will receive ICGEB funding will be based on:
- Early career status (student/postdoc);
- Nationality (applicants must be from ICGEB Member States; preference will be given to those residing outside Chile);
- Presentation of an abstract, which will be evaluated by the organizers based on its general interest/suitability, novelty, and quality;
- Submission of a letter, signed by the applicant and their supervisor, outlining motivations for attending the meeting, including how the conference fits within the applicant’s research program and how it might help them achieve their career goals. This will also constitute proof of the student/postdoc status of the applicant.
