The ICGEB aims at strengthening the research capability of its Members through a comprehensive training programme and approach to promoting biotechnology internationally. The active participation of ICGEB Member States nationals in the ICGEB Meetings and Courses is therefore highly encouraged. For more information on the terms of participation and funding opportunities for this event please access the meeting website or contact the local organiser directly.

This course aims to train young scientists and post-graduate students on state­ of-the-art proteomics technologies with special focus on bioinformatics analysis of large datasets. It also intends to promote the  applications  for  these technologies in each participant's research activity.

Shotgun proteomics, top down proteomics, bioinformatics analysis of proteomics datasets, interactomics, venomics.

Students and junior scientists that aim to use proteomics in their research activity. A poster session will be organized.

Funding

Participants are expected to cover their own travel costs, even though limited travel contribution will be available for selected students. Students subsistence costs will be covered (accommodation, per diem contribution, daily transfers and lunches).
