ICGEB Trieste is part of the Trieste system of UN, international and local institutions and actively participates in projects of common interest for the local scientific community.

Cooperation with other, locally situated, international agencies, research and academic institutions and local and regional authorities is promoted, in the interests of harmonising, potentiating and accelerating initiatives of common interest.
