Workshop "Proteomic Characterization of Macromolecular Complexes Involved in DNA Metabolism"

20-22 May 2009
AREA Science Park Congress Centre
Trieste, Italy

The Workshop will focus on the functional analysis of macromolecular complexes involved in all aspects of DNA metabolism, including DNA replication, repair, transcription, translation, and RNA splicing. In particular, the different mass spectrometry/proteomics strategies and methodologies used for the characterization and identification of these complexes will be discussed. The main aim of the Workshop is to gather people with experience in proteomics/mass spectrometry and people with experience in the biochemical characterization of DNA interacting complexes.

Participation is open to Ph.D. students, post-doctoral fellows, and independent investigators interested in the proteomic characterization of macromolecular complexes involved in all aspects of DNA metabolism.
