Advanced Summer School in Africa, 24-31 March 2012
Nutrition and Disease: Biochemical and Molecular Insights

Organized by M. Iqbal Parker, Director, ICGEB Cape Town, together with Prof. E.S. Gonos, National Hellenic Research Foundation, Insitute of Biological Research and Biotechnology, Athens, Greece and Dr A. Paraschiv, State Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Republic of Moldova, the Third Advanced Summer School in Africa has taken place in Hermanus from 24-31 March 2012.
The Course covers one week of advanced training for young scientists on topics covering prevalent chronic diseases, infectious diseases, aging and cancer.
The previous Summer Schools have been held in 2008 (on "Molecular and Cellular Basis of Infection") and 2010 (on "Molecular Mechanisms of Viral Infection Propagation").
