Theoretical Course "RNA Structure and Function"

The annual ICGEB Theoretical Course on RNA Structure and Function will be held in Trieste - at the ICTP Adriatico Guest House, Giambiagi Lecture Hall - from 27 February to 1 March 2012.

Speakers include James E. Dahlberg and Marvin Wickens from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Albert E. Dahlberg, Brown University, Providence, Lynne E. Maquat, University of Rochester, NY, Dino Moras, IGBMC, Illkirch, France, Dónal O'Carroll, EMBL Monterotondo Mouse Biology Unit, Rome, Silvano Riva, IGBE/CNR, Pavia, Jonathan P. Staley, University of Chicago and Michael J. Yarus, University of Colorado, Boulder, CO.

The meeting will cover topics including RNA structure, structure prediction, editing, ribozymes, transport, RNA-protein recognition, translation, processing, splicing and evolution of RNA sequences.
