Italian Days of Science, ICGEB Workshops held in Budapest and Turin


2013: Italy - Hungary Cultural Year. In the interests of supporting bilateral initiatives between Italy and Hungary, ICGEB scientists, in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, have recently organised workshops in Budapest, Hungary and Turin, Italy to increment cultural and scientific interaction in the academic and industrial arenas.

Organised by Carlo V. Bruschi, Yeast Molecular Genetic lab, ICGEB Trieste, Italy, Gina Giannotti, Director, Italian Cultural Institute, Budapest and Anna Halasz, Scientific Advisor, Central Food Research Institute and Professor of Food Chemistry at the University of Technology and Economics in Budapest, Hungary, the Bio-energy workshop has paved the way to increase bilateral collaboration in the field of renewable energies.

Bionics at the crossroads of Biotechnology and Information Technology, Wednesday, 24 April 2013

Held at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, Sandor Pongor, Protein Structure and Bioinformatics lab, ICGEB Trieste, Italy, has coordinated the meeting organised by Prof. Marco Gilli, Rector and Prof. Tamás Roska, Professor, Pázmány University and Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
