Amit Sharma, ICGEB New Delhi wins this year's Infosys Award in Life Sciences

The Infosys Prize 2015 honored six scientists for their outstanding research, including Amit Sharma of the Structural Parasitology Group, ICGEB New Delhi.

The Prize recognizes outstanding contributions to scientific research, which in turn contribute to the growth and development of India. Amit Sharma wins the prize for Life Sciences for his “pioneering contributions towards deciphering the molecular structure, at the atomic level, of key proteins involved in the biology of pathogenesis of the deadly malarial parasite”.
