ICGEB & Institut Pasteur sign an agreement for collaboration in human health sciences


At the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology ICGEB in Delhi, Dinakar M. Salunke, Director, ICGEB New Delhi and Christian Brechot, Director-General, Institut Pasteur  have expressed intent for mutual collaborations in the field of human health sciences.

The MoU formalises the aim to develop opportunities for collaborative research between scientists of both institutes in the Human Health sector. Under the collaboration, both institutes aim to develop, in particular, joint research projects on malaria and other infectious diseases, to create a joint laboratory to bring together complementary expertise and resources of both Parties, the exchange of scientific personnel and the organisation of joint scientific events in common areas of cooperation.

The signing ceremony was attended by scientists of ICGEB, New Delhi and of the Institut Pasteur.
