- On 21 September 2008 Burundi completed its accession to the Statutes to become the 59th Member State of ICGEB.- At its 14th session (22-23 October 2007) the Board of Governors accepted the requests for Membership from the Governments of Benin, the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya and Malaysia, bringing the total number of ICGEB Signatory Countries to 77.
