How to reach us

By Plane

Trieste Airport "Ronchi dei Legionari" is connected by direct flights to London Stansted, Munich and Belgrade as well as other European and African destinations. There are daily flights to Genoa, Rome, Milan and Turin.
The airport is approx. 30 minutes by car/taxi from ICGEB.

By Train

Trieste Railway Station is connected to all European destinations by "InterCity", "EuroStar" and "Regional" trains. Please see the "Ferrovie dello Stato" Web site for updated timetables.

Taxis from Trieste Railway Station to ICGEB cost approx. Euro 18.00 (for taxi bookings call: 040-307730).

By Bus

ICGEB is on the Trieste Science-Bus route.

From Piazza Libertà, located in front of Trieste Railway Station:
Bus 51 or Bus 39 to Area di Ricerca, PADRICIANO.
Tickets must be purchased before boarding (from the Tobacconist or newspaper stands).

By Car

ICGEB is off the A4 motorway (Venezia-Trieste). Continue on the dual carriageway (SS202) through the exit at Lisert in the direction of SLOVENIA for approx. 20 mins. Exit at "PADRICIANO - Area di Ricerca" and follow the signs to "Direzione/Laboratori" and ICGEB "W Building".
