Developments:
- On 16 January 2008 Qatar completed its accession to the Statutes to become the 57th Member State of ICGEB.
- At its 14th session (22-23 October 2007) the Board of Governors accepted the requests for Membership from the Governments of Benin, the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya and Malaysia, bringing the total number of ICGEB Signatory Countries to 77.
- Establishment in Africa of a Third ICGEB Component
The ICGEB Board of Governors has sanctioned the establishment of a third Component of the ICGEB in Cape Town, South Africa, at its 13th session held from 30 November to 1 December 2006 in New Delhi, India. Read more
